You are not lost.

You are becoming.

A cluttered living room with a gray sofa and a white coffee table. The sofa has blankets and pillows, and the coffee table has a large potted plant, books, and small decorative objects. A wooden bookshelf is in the background, along with a window allowing natural light into the room.

If you're a woman in midlife—somewhere between 42 and 65—and you've looked around at your life lately thinking "How the hell did I get here?" you're in the right place.

You've done everything "right." You built the career, raised the kids (or chose not to), showed up for everyone, held it all together. And yet somewhere along the way, you lost yourself. Not because you're broken. Not because you failed. But because that's what happens when you spend decades being the glue, the caretaker, the responsible one.

Now the roles don't fit anymore. Your kids don't need you the same way. Your career feels hollow. Your body is changing. The markers of identity you've relied on for years are shifting under your feet. And underneath all of that, there's a quiet, insistent question:

"Who am I if I'm not all of this?"

That's the work of Fall—the season of life between 42 and 65 where everything you thought defined you starts falling away like leaves. And it's uncomfortable as hell.

True North Co. exists to walk beside you in that messy middle.

What We Do

Meet Your Guide

True North Co. is where midlife women come to stop performing and start becoming.

We don't start with simply vision boards and vague affirmations. We do the real, gritty work of:

  • Putting down burdens that were never yours to carry

  • Reclaiming your sovereignty (your mind, your body, your days, your choices)

  • Building evidence that you're capable of way more than you've been giving yourself credit for

  • Moving from stuck to strong and free—fully engaged and fully alive in your own life

We work through three pillars:

GRIT (January-April): Challenge yourself to one hard thing. Build the habits. Prove you can do this.

GLOW (May-August): Manage your energy without burning out. Set boundaries. Regulate your nervous system.

GROW (September-December): Shift your mindset. Learn from failure. Integrate everything and keep going.

This happens through:

  • The RECLAIMING Podcast: Honest conversations about midlife's messy identity crisis

  • Workshops & Book Clubs: Practical frameworks you can actually implement

  • The Weekly Nudge: One thing each week to help you keep showing up for yourself

  • Community: Other women doing this work alongside you (because doing it alone is brutal)

True North Co. isn't about finding yourself. It's about choosing yourself—over and over again, even when it's hard.

I'm Glenda. I'm right here in the messy middle with you.

I'm a mindfulness-based psychotherapist, yoga therapist, and midlife reinvention coach with over a decade in private practice working with trauma, grief, anxiety, and ADHD. I've also been a death doula, a corporate marketing exec, and a few other identities I've shed along the way.

But here's what matters more than my credentials:

I've done this twice (so far).

At 42, I walked away from a 20-year corporate career—the status, the predictability, the version of myself that made sense to other people. It was brutal. But on the other side, I had time with my dying parents, went back to school, became a therapist, travelled solo, moved cities, and built a life that actually fit.

At 55, I started another reinvention. Not that long ago, I couldn't run 250 meters without stopping to catch my breath. Now I'm training for a full marathon. I went from "I think I could do that" delusion to actually doing it—lifting heavier, running farther, rebuilding my identity as an athlete in my 50s, all so my 80-year-old self can live life fully.

The corporate exit proved reinvention is possible.
The athletic comeback proved it's repeatable.

And that's the heartbeat of True North Co.: using real life—real grief, real risk, real effort—as raw material to become someone you're proud to be. Again and again, no matter how old you are.

I blend psychotherapy, somatic work, and coaching into conversations that feel grounded, not clinical. I bring trauma-informed care, nervous system regulation, and a love of progressive overload (small, consistent challenges that build capacity). My style is research-backed, practical, and very human: no fluff, no shame, lots of experiments.

And I'm not ahead of you. I'm with you.

Why This Matters

After years in private practice, I kept seeing brilliant, capable midlife women who had done everything "right" and still felt stuck, exhausted, or quietly disappointed. They had lives that looked fine on paper but felt suffocating underneath.

True North Co. is the research-informed, real-talk space I wish had existed for them—and for me.

It's where we build GRIT, GLOW, and GROW. Where we train for a next chapter that feels wilder, kinder, and more true to who we really are. Where we prove that midlife isn't a slow fade—it's a burning platform demanding you drop what's not yours and step fully into your own life.
